Wearable Accessories
IDST manufactures a full range of wearable and carry accessories suitable for use with most barcode scanners and other devices found in the mobile workplace. IDST holsters and carry cases protect valuable mobile devices and provide hands-free convenience for their operators while keeping them within comfortable reach. All items are carefully constructed using only the highest quality materials to ensure an extended lifetime’s usage in the toughest workplaces.
If needed, new carry accessory models can be quickly developed to suit any of the multitude of barcode scanner and other mobile data devices available, and we are able to work with customers to develop their own new and unique designs if required.
Belt Holsters
Sturdy IDST belt holsters are built with maximum worker comfort and convenience in mind. A range of pouches are available to suit all scanner types and configurations, and typically feature a handy extra pocket for spare batteries, pens etc. Pouches can be easily removed from the PE backing board via the locking swivel mount, and set in either direction for left- or right- handed use. All belt holsters are fully compatible with IDST rugged work belts.
Carry Holsters
IDST protective carry holsters allow barcode scanners and other mobile devices to be worn on the body via a full-length shoulder strap (also supplied). Heavy duty eyelets are mounted on all corners to maximize wearing configurations and user convenience. Scanner touch displays are easily accessed, while keypads are well protected by the flexible transparent plastic screen. Luxurious shoulder pad reduces worker fatigue even after extended periods of usage.
Work Belts
Durable IDST work belts are available in sizes S to 3XL to fit all workers. Rugged nylon weave construction lasts for an extended period in workplace environments. 5cm (2”) width distributes carry accessory weight better and gives a more stable feel than lesser width belts. Heavy duty quick-release polycarbonate buckle keeps everything in place once set, while the end Velcro fastener eliminates annoying and potentially dangerous 'loose ends'.
